Do you want to train your pup to pull? There are so many amazing ways to run with your dog in harness. Whether that be through canicross, bikejor, cross country, dog sledding, or more. We are happy to help train your pup so you can do more together. With our sled dog school, your pup will get the opportunity to come and learn from our very experienced team of dogs and mushers.

What does a day at the ranch look like for your pup?
Our staff will start with a hiking a rotation and bathroom check at 7 AM. While we have AM pick up and drop of from 8-10AM, we are rotating dogs between breakfast, play time, pack training, meet and greet, and hiking.
After AM guest arrival and departure ends, we continue for the rest of the day with a rotation of hiking, pack training, play time, assessments, doggy down time inside or outside (dog's preference of which), sled team training if scheduled for a dog, snack time or lunch, rehabilitation work if needed, all of this happens throughout ranch trails of course, and then we are also cleaning outside and inside our cottages and Pueblo yard.
During PM drop off and pick up from 5-7PM, we are rotating feeding, play time, and pack training. Afterwards, we see which dogs would like a second hike/walk, then all dogs have down time until bed time and final bathroom check at 11:45PM.
All dogs are rotated through activities with groups that they are compatible with, and activity order sometimes vary, but that is a typical day. We get activities started based on when or if we have guests coming and going. We take our time to really assess each dog and see what they need to be happy and successful, and of course see what they want as well. The goal is just to help them be the happiest versions of themselves and to help them thrive and overcome anything they need to on their journey. Sometimes their needs for the day may require changes to their schedule and activities. It is all dog dependent and individualized to fit each dog. Our Rancho is designed to be a place where a dog can just be a dog, and love life!
